Following
the great success of Bromsgrove’s Ragdolls
at their 1st show (Galston) we decided to take
Rosie, Sebastian, Todd, Amber, Lilly and Latte
to the Milton Show.
This was a completely
different experience for us, as well as our precious
little ones.
To start off with, we were a little adventurous
and decided to take six cats. Now, that is a lot
to get ready, not to mention we had to leave Sydney
at 4.30am! I think they were all still asleep
when we left – I know I was. Then, of course,
it was not as quiet as their 1st show, with
all the noises of a normal show – rides,
horses, announcements and all the excitement that
is part and parcel of a show.

We were extremely
proud of them all. They handled the day
with all the grace and decorum we have come
to expect from our ragdolls.
Rosie, once
again, enjoyed the show, and certainly had
something to be proud about by the end of
the day. Rosie had had gained sufficient
points at Milton to become a Champion (and
didn’t she enjoy that!)

To ensure
he was not out done by Rosie, Sebastian
was on his best behaviour at Milton and
proved to the judges he was just as good
as Rosie.
Yes, Sebastian became a champion at Milton
as well.

Milton was
Todd’s 1st show and even though
he was not sure what he was doing (he is
a male after all..), he acted like a true
gentleman and impressed the judges with
his coat and personality.
It is also extremely difficult for the others
needing to compete against Rosie.

Milton was
Amber’s 1st show and I have to admit,
like most children, she hated her bath and
having her hair brushed for her 1st special
occasion.
She certainly did not mind all the attention
once we got there though (once she woke
up – Amber is not
a morning person).

Latte
certainly had more confidence at Milton, but
Lilly was still not sure of herself, spending
most of the day cuddled up to Latte. After
lunch, she was a little tired and overwhelmed
by the crowd, so we decided to rest her rather
than ask her to compete any longer. |
