| 12th
Anniversary Show with International
Judges from USA.
This was a special weekend,
not just for Bromsgrove but
for every member of the Waratah
National Cat Alliance. It was
our 12th Anniversary show, with
international judges from USA.
This in itself was special for
Ragdoll breeders, as the Ragdoll
breed started in America. For
us to be judged by someone,
who not only knew so much about
the Ragdoll breed but also knew
the person herself, (Ann Baker)
who founded the breed, was a
true honour. Kim Everett was
a true inspiration for us all,
even being prepared to meet
with us during her lunch break
to talk about the Ragdoll breed
and where we were going with
Solid Ragdolls.
I
felt very special indeed when
Grace was awarded Best in Breed
by both of the American judges.
Grace then went on to win Best
in Show in another ring as well.
Not to be outdone by her sister,
Tiffany won Best in Show at
her very first show, and in
her own special Seniors Ring.
And
what can one say about Leo:
being judged by American judges,
who not only know about Solid
Ragdolls but who also judge
them on a regular basis - WOW!!!
I was thrilled when he won his
ring to one of the
American judges and came second
to a Ragdoll in the other. I
certainly cannot complain about
that!
Bromsgrove was very
proud of all our little ones
who were on their best behaviour
and very proudly showed everyone
how good they could be. Well
done one and all. It was definitely
a weekend Bromsgrove will remember. |
