 As
we expected, Cronulla was a
special weekend indeed. I felt
very lucky to be able to steward
at such a prestigious event.
Our little ones did extremely
well, not only in each ring,
but they maintained their composure
throughout both days. Not one
of them got grumpy or even stopped
purring.
The
show was over two days, and
although Grace was not only
up to being able to go, I think
she enjoyed the time out. Rosie
however, was a bit busy (having
only had her kittens a few days
earlier !!) and happily stayed
at home. Instead,
we gave one of our solid girls
(Ava) an opportunity to see
if she could wow the judges,
and although she did her best
(and looked beautiful) it was
a bit hard for the judges to
go past Leo, who is now looking
quite regal, and our youngest
little solid boy (Jedda), who was
attending his first show (and
quite overwhelmed at first).
Not only did Jedda impress the
judges, he also won the Supreme
Companion Exhibit in Show, in
the Ragdoll Specialty Ring (see
picture inset).
Bromsgrove was definitely proud of everyone. Well
done, Ladies and Gentlemen (and
boys and girls) |
