 With
a love for ‘ginger’ cats, it was only logical
Julie-Anne would sooner or later ensure we went into
the flame (red) and cream Ragdolls. This is a decision
I have not regretted, and have thoroughly enjoyed.
Flame and cream are the most recent of the Ragdoll colours
to be introduced and acknowledged by breed registration
societies. As the colour is gender-linked and only carried
on the X chromosome, this makes females more difficult
to come by. Even
though they are hard to get hold of, the flame and cream
Ragdolls are a true delight to own, and definitely worth
the wait.
I can
proudly announce Bromsgrove is now breeding beautiful
flames and creams with the assistance of mum and dad,
Tiffany and Todd. Next year, we will also have the assistance
of our newest flame who has only just been born and
yet to be named.
Rare colours,
flame and cream have a distinguishing colouring of their
own:
 Flame
(Red)
The points (nose, ears, paws, tail) have an orange to
red colouring.
The body is cream with a tinge of orange.
Colour points have a pink nose and pink pads on their
paws
Cream
The points (nose, ears, paws, tail) have a pale orange
tinge.
The body is a creamy white colour.
The nose and paw pads are pink.
