Bromsgrove, we pride ourselves on the love and devotion
we show to all of our cats and kittens. With personalities
being as diverse as their colour, it is never difficult
to find a kitten who wants a special cuddle or play time.
Our Ragdolls are not just cats to us here at Bromsgrove,
but part of the family - and we are all proud of it.
It is
always exciting
being able to match up the Ragdolls and then try and
predict what colour the kittens will be. As it is only
an educated guess and not always what we are expecting,
it is exciting being expectant ‘parents’
waiting for each litter.
At Bromsgrove we have
the ability to combine different Colours with various
Patterns.

 Seal
Points are from a deep (seal) brown to a dark brownish
black. Body ranges from ivory to pale fawn beige.
Stomach, Chest and Bib are lighter than the body.
Nose and Paw Pads are a dark Seal Brown Colour. |
 Blue
Points are a slate blue or grey with no brown
colour. Body
is a bluish white to cream or platinum grey.
Stomach,
Chest and Bib are lighter than the rest of the
body. Nose and Paw Pads are a Slate Blue/Grey. |

 Flame
Points are an orange to red colour. Body is cream
with a tinge of orange. Stomach, Chest and Bib are
almost cream.
Nose and Paw Pads are pink. |
 Cream
Points have a pale orange tinge. Body is a creamy
white colour. Stomach, Chest and Bib are cream or
white.
Nose and Paw Pads are pink. |

 Lilac
Points range from a pinkish-grey to a pinkish-beige.
Body has a warm magnolia colour.
Stomach, Chest and Bib are lighter in colour than
the body. Nose and Paw Pads are lavender pink. |
 Chocolate
Points are a warm milk-chocolate colour, all with
a rose undertone. Body colour is ivory to light
milk-chocolate brown. Stomach, Chest and Bib are
from ivory to a lighter shade of the point colour.

| Colour
Point
The Points (nose, ears, paws, and tail) are one
defined and dark colour (seal, blue, flame, lilac
or chocolate).
The Body colour is lighter than the points.
Stomach, Chest and Bib are a lighter colour than
the body colour. There is no white in the coat.
Nose and Paw Pads are coloured same as points. |
Bi-colour
Only the ears, tail and mask are one of the point
colours. The mask is shown with an inverted white
‘V’ over the nose.
The body is a shade lighter than the point colour.
Stomach, Chest, Legs and Feet are normally white.
Full colour in the back is preferable, but white
patches are allowed. Nose and Paw Pads are pink. |

Solid & Mink
A non pointed colouring with mink, having the softest
of coats, like a Mink. Solid was one of the first
colours bred in Ragdolls (now making a comeback).
Body colour and point colour are the same –
one colour throughout.
Body colour can be found in black, blue, chocolate,
lilac, white, flame, cream.
Pattern can be point (no white), mitted, and bi-colour.
Do not have blue eyes. |
Mitted
Solid colour on points, with a white chin.
May have a white blaze on nose.
White stripe from chin down stomach to the base
of the tail. White mittens on front legs.
White boots on back legs, between heel and mid-thigh
in length. Body is lighter in colour than the
points. Nose is the colour of the point and the
Paw Pads are pink.

Lynx
or Tabby
A Ragdoll Pointed version of a patterned tabby.
Dark stripes in the body colour on a point, bi-colour,
mitted or solid (of any traditional colour).
Tabby markings on the face look like a ‘W’.
Inside of the ear is white.
The nose is brick colour.

Tortie
Displays more than two colours or shades mixed together
on all of their points.
Random or intermingled pattern.
Normally flame/cream with blue or seal.
Gender specific to females. |
